First and last post of this month (...or maybe not?)

These past 2 months flew by so quick, slow down please! Actually you know what, forget that last bit. Spring, hurry your ass up! It's about 1:43am and I'm slightly tipsy right now, but I figured why not update the blog and post some pictures.

Slowly getting things together for the shop section.

A nice chunk of hair just dying to be hung up on gallery walls. Custom framing is going hurt like a bitch.

I've recently moved into a small studio apt in Brooklyn, which makes my commute to work a hell of a lot easier. No more wasting 2 hrs everyday on the commuter bus. Plus, having a bar/lounge around the corner just makes it too easy.

I'm finally here to update you with some images from the past show @ destination Art Space. I was smart enough to leave my camera's memory card on my desk and so I was left with only 4 shots to take (plus i believe the wine restricted me from doing so). Just want to thank those who were able to take some photos that night and letting me steal them!

destination Art Space, a gallery within an upscale boutique merging fashion and art, is pleased to present recent works by Ezra Talmatch, John Ryan Solis, Scott Hill and Tokio Kuniyoshi. These New York based artists create paintings, drawings and collages that explore their individual personal worlds. Objects in their worlds speak to us deeply from varied perspectives with a flavor of surrealism.

The concept-derived assemblage above, entitled “The Beginning of New Classics,” also plays a vital role in destination Art Space’s new change.

Driven by its mission – making art accessible to the public at incredible prices and offering great artists a public forum – destination Art Space has hosted an open-call, affordable-art exhibition series featuring dozens of emerging and professional artists. Since this series is one of the Space's most popular and has built a great reputation, dedicated to its mission above, destination Art Space will focus this series with our upcoming exhibitions.

Hoping the new series will be the Space’s new classic, this four-person exhibition showcasing some of our most popular artists is the precursor of this transition.

the post-graduate update

I know I haven't been updating lately and I apologize to those I haven't replied back yet. I am working full-time at the moment and it's been real difficult to get on my own projects (i think because commuting has been sucking the life out of me). BUT- I will get back on my grind and finally get back into producing new work, especially for the next upcoming group show. More info TBA...
